There are different stages of a child’s development as they grow from infants to teens to adults. There are different aspects of the development of a child’s personality like physical, intellectual, emotional and social.
The Department of Education defines Early Childhood Development (ECD) as an: “umbrella term” or a general cataloging that refers to the processes by which children, from birth until they turn 9, grow and flourish socially, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and morally.” Child development refers to the biological, mental and emotional changes that occur in human beings between birth and the end of teenage years, as the specific progress from dependency to increasing autonomy. It is a permanent process with expected series yet having a unique course for every child.
Parents play a very important role in the development of their child’s personality, so they should provide help, support, and access to activities that facilitate the child in the developing process.
It’s the responsibility of the parents to exposes a child to different challenges according to their age to encourage experiences that permits the child to explore on their own and learn from interacting with their environment for better development. At every stage, parents should know how to entertain their children by providing best environment. Physically activities also play a very important role. Now there are a lot of options according to the age of your children like cycling, hiking, different games and fun-filled playing on bouncy castles and soft play areas.
